For those of you who love this lace that is a simplified variation of Milanese Lace. It is full of interesting designs, Butterflies, snails, and hearts. There are also free abstract designs that make small motifs of can be turned into larger mats. Together with also a series of numbers that could be used for Birthdays and similar celebrations.
The beginning of the book has 10 pages of technical information of the techniques uses. With plenty of diagrams. The only difficulty with the book is that it is only in German but the diagrams are so clear that this is no drawback.
The threads used vary from Bockens and Fresia Linen to Finca lace thread usually No 60. Most of the patterns use 6 to 12 pairs of bobbins. Although one of the butterfly’s uses 22 pairs and the larger mat 26 pairs
