Description
Torchon Lace Scarf No 1 – This pattern uses Whole stitch trails and diamonds zig zaging down the center. The pattern leaves triangular spaces which are filled by Spiders. It has Whole-stitch ground at the edge. A basic knowledge of Torchon Lace and its various stitches is needed. The pattern is in an easy to follow format but no detailed stitch instructions are given.
The pattern is in an A4 folder and the pricking width is 190cm wide. It uses 42 pairs of bobbins. The scarf pattern consists of 2 pages one, start and middle page two, middle and end. The middle or motif section can be repeated as many times as needed to make the length of scarf you would like.
It uses 42 pairs of bobbins. Any of the following threads can be used, thick silk, fine (Lace weight ) wool or Perle No 8.
