Torchon Scarf Pattern No 2 – Annick Staes This pattern uses the following Torchon Stitches squares of Whole stitch, also Roseground and Cane ground. So arranged to form large and attractive diamond shapes. A basic knowledge of torchon lace and its stitches is needed as no detailed stitch instruction are given although the pattern is easy to follow there are 2 pattern sheets with the motif repeats clearly marked. The pattern pricking is 190cm wide and it uses 38 pairs of bobbins. This Torchon Scarf can be made in any of the following threads, thick silk, fine wool and Perle No 8. and the pattern for this and all of Annick’s patterns are available from Makit of March.
