Following last year’s very successful course, Annick Staes, the international renowned designer, author and tutor will return in April 2026 to teach Flanders and Binche Lace making techniques.
Two courses in a new format each of four days, designed for all ability levels, the experienced lacemaker who wishes to be introduced to Flanders or Binche lacemaking techniques or those who wish to build upon their existing skills.
Course numbers are restricted to a maximum of twelve people enabling Annick to provide individual attention, tailoring the course content to your individual needs and previous lacemaking experience. We guarantee that you will learn something new and have a great deal of fun in the process as well as enjoying the superb facilities and comfort that our venue offers.

YOUR COURSE INCLUDES
Over four days a minimum of twenty-two-hours tuition structured by Annick towards meeting your objectives whilst learning at your own pace.
A copy of the appropriate book on Flanders or Binche techniques written by Annick.
Free access to our extensive pattern library.
Each course provides you with a two-course lunch on days one, two, and three. Morning and afternoon refreshments, and a two-course buffet dinner, bed on three nights for residential students.
Accommodation is in a modern ground floor room with ensuite facilities.
